Aims
KS3
At the end of Key Stage 3 we want students to start to be able to make informed choices about their decisions regarding their Safety, Health and Relationships as they move forward to becoming an adult. The curriculum in organised in a spiral format to ensure that all topics are revisited each year and are built on in an age-appropriate manner ensuring all local/national/Global issues are discussed as and when they arise for our area or our school, in these instances the normal curriculum is suspended and then that issue will be discussed with the groups to ensure full understanding of the outcome once again in an age-appropriate format.
PSHE is a timetabled subject on our student’s curriculums. The subject is led by a fully trained PSHE certified member of staff and the Team consists of a small number of teachers. The students will know the subject as Learning for Life.
KS4
