Music Tuition

Instrumental lessons can be of great value to everyone. Whether they are being taken for future career reasons or purely for fun, learning an instrument has been proven to enhance a child’s learning in all curriculum areas.

Music lessons at Alec Hunter Academy take place during timetabled lessons for 10 weeks of each term.

Due to the popularity of instrumental lessons we offer a ‘shared lesson scheme’, where possible, so your child can be taught with someone else. This not only benefits your child as far as learning is concerned, but also brings the price down considerably.

The tuition amounts, based on 10 lessons, are as follows:

20 MINS

SHARED

SINGLE

£50

£100

If you have applied or are in possession of a tuition voucher for your child, the costs are as follows:

20 MINS

SHARED

SINGLE

£0

£50.00

You are eligible to apply for a tuition voucher if you are currently in receipt of income support, income based Job Seekers Allowance or Working/Child Tax Credit. A redeemable tuition voucher is available for the sum of £50.00, valid for one year. You will need to apply online using the following link: Tuition voucher application
