Our catering service is totally cash free. Each student is issued with a personalised smart card, free of charge, which can be used to purchase food from the canteen at break and lunchtime. Parents can credit their child's account in two ways:
- ParentPay - ParentPay offers parents the freedom to top up their child’s account at any time, quickly and easily, with a debit or credit card. All parents have a secure online account which is accessed with a unique user ID and password. An electronic record of the payments can be viewed online at any time.
- PayPoint at local stores - Parents who prefer to continue using cash can top up their child’s account in local PayPoint stores. Those parents choosing the PayPoint method can apply to receive a payment card through the post. Payments made by this method can also be viewed online by logging onto ParentPay. Please note, payments made by PayPoint may take up to two days to be credited to your child’s account.
Students who are entitled to free school meals will have their daily meal allowance automatically added to their catering account card. Parents of those students who wish to add to this amount can also top up the account by using any of the above methods.
Leavers' Balances: At the end of each academic year we will check account balances for all leavers. If we have not received authorisation to refund balances or to transfer to a sibling's account by 30th September, the account of the leaver will be closed.
