All form representatives have the opportunity to stand for year representative at the start of each academic year. They have to prepare a short speech which they will give in assembly hustings.
Year Representatives
Year Representatives are voted for by their year group. They are responsible for chairing year meetings and attending School Council meetings to represent the views of their year group.
School Council Meetings take place every half-term following a published agenda.
School Council meetings are chaired by the Senior Student Leaders. Following this meeting, the Senior Leader who oversees the School Council will bring back any key issues raised by the council to a Leadership Group meeting, so that they can be discussed by the Headteacher and senior staff. The Year Representatives will then attend assemblies to feedback to all students on the decisions that have been made.
